Matt Devine is an illustrator and part-time wizard born in Southfield and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He earned his diploma in the international baccalaureate art program at the now defunct Harrison High School in 2018, and spent much of his time in the program teaching himself to write and draw comics. The following year, he took his love of art and storytelling to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where he studied illustration for four years. 

Much of his body of work is colored by a lifelong fondness for creating settings, characters, and telling stories. He enjoys producing dramatic, dynamic, and intense scenes centering around pivotal moments in a story. While his focus lies primarily on visual narratives, he also has work experience in graphic design and other visual development.
